being a Johorean + UMNO

one of being a typical Johorean "move" is much or less care about the party that governed Malaysia for 50 years, UMNO. aku dibesarkan dalam suasana pergolakan dan kebangkitan UMNO. kenapa aku kisah dengan UMNO?

pertama sekali, kerana aku dilahirkan di Johor, di mana UMNO ditubuhkan.

kedua, tetapi boleh jadi ini sebab pertama, mak bapak aku adalah orang-orang yang kuat menyokong UMNO. ingatan aku sekuat dari sekolah rendah, hingga ke hari ni, setiap kali pilihanraya, rumah aku pasti dihiasi dengan gelombang-gelombang biru. mak bapak aku antara jentera-jentera UMNO. walaupun kecil sumbangan mereka, tapi, pada aku, setiap peluh yang mereka curah untuk meraih undi di kampung kecil itu, amat bermakna bagi aku yang melihat. mereka melakukan tugasan tanpa balasan - pada pandangan aku, seikhlasnya. tapi sekarang ni, yang aku tahu, abang sulung aku, berpaling arah. dia antara orang kuat DSAI. tapi, sekarang ni, aku tak tahu dia pilih jalan yang mana. sebab musababnya, dia tidak tinggal di kampung di mana UMNO dijulang-julang. bersekolah rendah inggeris hingga kemudian berdiam di asrama dan terbang meninggalkan tanahair dan kembali ke tanahair dan terus menetap di kota metropolitan menjadikan dia "disloyal". kami yang lain-lain, masih mewarisi pegangan mak bapak kami. yang paling jelas, abang aku yang ke-enam dari adik beradik. dia adalah antara beribu jentera-jentera pemangkin UMNO (dia sungguh marah pada aku dan adik aku yang memutuskan diri untuk tidak pergi mengundi pada pilihanraya lepas dengan alasan tak sempat).

ketiga, Malaysia diterajui oleh Perdana Menteri yang hebat sejak aku dilahirkan. aku membesar dengan cita-cita beliau dan aku bersama-sama jutaan rakyat Malaysia merasai pembangunan dan kegahhan yang dicipta dari idea-idea beliau. sebab itu aku sehingga kini tetap di belakang.

aku tumpang gembira dan hampir menitiskan airmata bila melihat penutupan Perhimpunan Agung 2009 yang lepas menampilkan bibit-bibit permulaan yang baru untuk UMNO.

teori "brand loyalty" yang aku pelajari dulu memang merangkap "global" term, it does not limit to products or services only. anyhow, think wisely.

twilight... the movie vs. the novel

I am done with the twilight-the novel. practically, there are a lot of differences between the novel and the film itself. obviously, the novel is detail in describing things which makes the film is in the "brief" stage. however, i have no problem with that. i love both. there are some plots and scripts however, are the same. that.. will make one flashing back in between the film and the novel. as for me, i watched the film twice before continuing with the second book - new moon and the rest. i actually read the first book - twilight after i'm done with the other three books and of course, i bought the twilight later.. hehehe.

From my opinion, some lines in the film, are better in sound compared to the one in the novel. they did a good job in the improvised version. how did Bella find out about who or what is Edward, the film did it better. Bella's visit to the Cullen's mansion, the film made it more interesting. how Edward picked up Bella at Charlie's for prom is far better in the film.

The scenes where the predator coven - James, Victoria and Laurent hunted the human, are none in the novel. I prefer the film better, the scenes in the film gives extra "ouomph" to the existence of the bad vampire and the "vegetarian" vampire. The haunting and the crimes scene in film also do a great job on the Chief Swan's existence in the Forks and consequently, the "fatherly" character of Charlie. Charlie went missing at the end of the novel, I don't prefer that.

Twilight the novel, tells about how Carlisle and Alice became a vampire in detail. It also explains why Carlisle and Esme are eager and fond to know that Edward finally found his love- Isabella Swan. So, for the film watcher, to know in detail, Twilight the novel will do the history for you.

Catched few lines from the novel that are in the film. here is one of my favorites line;

"About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was part of him - and I didn't know how potent that part might be - that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him." - Bella Swan pg. 195 Twilight; Stephenie Meyer.

Due to Twilight, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson hit a sudden-fame. Lucky them.

he is now ONE !!

cepat jek masa tu berlalu.. iqram is now one.. to be exact, semalam, 22nd March 2009, Iqram Munsieff is officially ONE. anak kedua aku ni belum pandai jalan lagi. dah pandai berdiri sendiri, menapak setakat satu dua langkah jek. pastu sengaja rebah-rebahkan badan. kalau kita tak tunggu die depan mata, ada tersembam muka kat lantai. iqram ni sangat naughty. suka dengki abang dia. actually, sama jeklah dua-dua ni.. saling sakat menyakat. kalau abang die nangis, die boleh tiru kekadang tu, die siap ejek-ejek (jelir-jelir lidah) kat abang dia. pastu, buat suara la-ala marah (ni memang sah tiru gaya aku marah). iqram tak macam ilhan yang senang ditinggalkan walau di mana pun. iqram ni asyik nak bergayut je kejenye. kadang-kadang tu, aku naik tension. yea lah.. nak pergi toilet pun susah tau. asyik nak duduk dekat dengan dia jek. rumah aku tu dah macam ape. jarang sekali aku sempat nak menyapu. kalau time die tido, aku sempatlah jugak sidai baju. jadik, jangan salahkan aku kalau rumah aku tu berhabuk setebal 5-6 inci (serious beb!!). kalau tak caya, korang jaga iqram sejam. baru korang tahu... hehehehe..anyway, he's "my precious !! O my precious" (ha.. yang ni buat gaya-gaya Gollum from Lord of The Rings- hehehe.. eik.. geli la plaks).

nak jadi kaya..? nak jadi semakin muda ?

siapa tak nak jadi kaya kan ? pembohongan terbesar kalau seseorang tu kata dia tak teringin nak jadi kaya. tapi, nak jadi kaya sekaya mana? nak jadi kaya dalam apa? sehingga bila nak jadi kaya? dan bila pulak nak jadi kaya? dah tengok jamal malik dalam slumdog millionnaire? teringin tak nak jadik kaya tiba-tiba macam jamal malik ? aku nak. tapi kan... mungkin mimpi aku nak jadi macam jamal malik ada, tapi sanggupkah aku jalani apa yang jamal malik jalani dalam hidup dia hingga dia menjadi kaya tiba-tiba ? setiap kegembiraan pasti ada kedukaan dan setiap perubahan pasti ada pengorbanan. dare to put yourself in his shoe ?

nak jadi semakin muda?
ehh... siapa tak nak kan ? aku nak. produk-produk sekarang semuanya sibuk promosi awet muda, tegang kulit, tegang b**b, dan macam-macam teganglah. tapikan.. khir toyo kata makan tempe jek ... hahaha.. aku makan tempe dari kecik sampai sekarang, tak cantik pun kulit aku. bohong betul khir toyo tulah. aku nak saman statement dia boleh ? yang orang sibuk-sibuk nak jadi muda ni, diorang dah tengok tak the curious case of benjamin button? nak ke jadik macam benjamin button? reverse the growth. makin lama makin muda. makin lama makin muda... ni bagi jek kat artis-artis macam anita sarawak ke, tak pun hot stuff azizah mahzan ke, ha ha.. tak pun sape tu yang kawin dengan budak muda tu..eh! pesal aku lupa ek nama dia... haaa... rosnah mat aris.. suruh diorang jadik benjamin.. mungkin wishes diorang terjawab. hahaha. so untuk korang, dare to put yourself in his shoe?

anyway, aku just nak share apa yang aku tengok dalam dua tiga minggu ni sebenarnya.. hehehe.. tengok SDM, aku jadik penat. terikut-ikut penat si Jamal Malik tu. lagi satu.. now you know the dark side of india. erghhh!! tengok TCCOBB, mula-mula aku boring cos slow sangat pace die..tapi makin lama makin menarik. aku rasa the peak is at the end of the story in which berjaya memutiarakan mata aku. lagi satu, teringat-ngat keindahan new orleans. serious! new orleans tu sangat cantik and very peaceful. tak tahulah apa jadi lepas Katrina Hurricane. pernah jugak experienced melarikan diri from hurricane di New Orleans. masa tu George Hurricane year 1998. nasib baik George berpatah balik ke laut. nasib New Orleans masih baik lagi waktu itu.

how can the same disgusting offence receives different punishment ? are they counting on the amount of the $ given out? or number of the idiot parties that receives the $? or the position that they wanted to contest? a bribe is a bribe !! anak hantu Dollah (..even hates to mention the name) should row the same boat with Ali Rustam. Apalah nak jadik... geram geram geram !

twilight saga .. the end

.. the end of twilight about a week ago. aku cuma malas jek nak update on my reading progress. keterujaan melampau aku bila aku mula membaca membuatkan aku me"marathon"kan masa seminggu tanpa henti menghayati new moon-eclipse-breaking dawn.

nak cerita lelebih, ada orang yang masih membaca novel-novel itu membaca blog aku jugak. i hate the element of unsurprise if it comes to stories. any.. film, drama, book.. whatever. "potong stim" giller kalau dah tahu the ending. so, i treated the other readers as the same. so, mind me if i'm not telling anything. not even a single word on what's next.

my conclusion, the stories varies from light to heavy. few plots need to be read few times in order to understand the "history".. and i did ignore some (after reading it three times, and dah malas nak fikir and relate anymore)... hahaha. i like the way stephenie put on her thoughts. she can be she and he. hey, the books are selling fast. stephenie ni buat duit betul!!

rating? malas nak rating cos ade orang akan kata i am bias pulak because robert pattinson is edward cullen... ape-ape pun. cinta cinta cinta!! mwahahaha! so, now, waiting for the original DVD to release and of course looking forward for the new moon in film. and you know what, why'lah mat salleh nie so hebat when it comes to film? they have started looking for a new director for eclipse !! while new moon is just started-off shooting.. impressive!

The twilight saga

Lihat apa yg ada di atas mejaku.. Wahaha .. Aku suka aku suka.
