Boys Over Flowers + Korean genetics

Boys Over Flowers. Those with ASTRO, now it’s airing at KBSW303, Monday and Tuesday – 9 to 10 pm and also Sunday noon.

As said before, salah satu routine aku bila di rumah, takde cerita yang menarik untuk di tonton, tangan aku pasti akan menekan punat 3-0-3 di remote ASTRO. Tapi, aku tak begitu committed. Kadang-kadang aku lupa, dan aku selalu ter”miss” the ending of the story.

Boys Over Flowers adalah adaptation from the very famous Japanese manga – Hana Yori Dango (which aku tak pernah baca). The drama is the Korean version. Taiwan did theirs few years back with Meteor Garden and Meteor Garden II. I did the Meteor Garden few times and Meteor Garden II - Volume I and IV. Now, I am addicted to Boys Over Flowers which I hope I will not miss it. Tapi, aku agak bengang cos hari Selasa, aku nak tengok “Cinta Untuk Ain” (hehehe.. what a drama queen la aku ni)… which I ended up watching both with the CUA in the big screen and BOF in the smaller screen. The audio however, is on CUA which will do for me for just reading the subtitle from BOF in the small screen. Memanglah kurang “kick”… tapi aku pun tak boleh terlepas tengok dua-dua itu. Kah Kah Kah. However, BOF ni a bit different from Meteor Garden, so, itu sebab aku mesti tengok.

Persoalannya di sini, as I watched the drama, my “observation theory” semakin kuat. It’s about the Korean genetic. They do have a pointed nose. Most of them.. almost of them. Atau adakah only the pointed noses were picked up to be on air? Nope.. I saw few here in the company, they all have pointed noses. And, their features also somewhat are unique. A bit of supermodel-like features. A very fine jaw-line, thin and tall. Tapi, the tall element does not blanketing the old generation. Their old generation is quite small. This thing goes the same with Japanese. And I’ve been thinking, what makes them tall ? Is tall actually passes through genetic alone? Aku dan Uji ada discuss pasal benda nie.. we bet that the “daily diet” might have the effect. Or, maybe they are munching or gulping a “highly confidential secret ingredient” in order to make them tall or at least their next generation tall. You know that Japanese and Korean are very highly competitive people. They strive for the best. The technology, so far, they can be proud of. Even Germans admit that they can’t really beat them now on the vessel-building industry. So, for being tall, they can excel in sports maybe ? I am soooo going to find out about Korean. Siape ek yang aku nak interview? The only Korean yang aku kenal hanyalah one guy from our Yard Optimisation team. Tapi, dah lama aku tak nampak dia. Is he still here?

kak, tapi jgn lupa satu citer citer ni. 1/10 minah@mamat korea yg plastik especially kat muka (time magazine). mcm yg saya citer dulu.
